It has become critical to measure, track, and manage the performance of supply chain processes. Uncertainty, growing competition, shorter cycle times, more demanding customers, and pressure to cut costs are just a few characteristics of the 21st century business environment. Additionally, global business landscape is constantly and rapidly changing. Today, supply chains are very complex business networks that need to be managed collaboratively and optimized globally. This should lead to more intelligent, predictive, and responsive supply chains capable of adapting to future business environment. The results show that these models give very accurate KPI projections and provide valuable insights into newly emerging trends, opportunities, and problems. Finally, a specialized analytical web portal which offers collaborative performance monitoring and decision making is presented. KPI predictive models were trained and tested with a real-world data set. Next, the paper describes two generic approaches for designing the KPI predictive data mining models based on the BI semantic model. The paper also presents the supply chain semantic business intelligence (BI) model which encapsulates data sources and business rules and includes the data warehouse model with specific supply chain dimensions, measures, and KPIs (key performance indicators). It presents the supply chain modelling approach based on the specialized metamodel which allows modelling of any supply chain configuration and at different level of details. This paper introduces a predictive supply chain performance management model which combines process modelling, performance measurement, data mining models, and web portal technologies into a unique model. once i got that sorted i will post back on this site to help the future guys who visits this post.Today’s business climate requires supply chains to be proactive rather than reactive, which demands a new approach that incorporates data mining predictive analytics.

#PERVASIVE PSQL V11 SLOW PERFORMANCE HOW TO#

I'm currently looking into how to enable the firewall and still keep the speed they want. I have that disabled A.T.M just so that people can calm down a bit and stop breathing down my neck. so i started all the the things again one by one and narrowed it down to the AD DC server's domain networks firewall. After tinkering a bit i figured that the server running pastel had some issues communicating with the AD DC server and for some odd reason, like you, when opening up pastel it briefly open outlook as well and caused pastel to further delay the "Boot Time" as it struggled to further communicate with the exchange server as well.īut long story short, after disabling all the firewalls, anti-virus and anti-ransomeware on the client computer, router and servers. One of my clients also upgraded everything, spent allot of money on network equipment and servers and ended up with slow speeds on Pastel. I don't know if you have managed to sort out your issue, but i have encountered something similar to your problem. If anyone has had a similar problem or suggestions i would appreciate Michael.

I'm pretty sure that upgrading the version of pastel and pervasive would solve this problem as V11 and pervasive V10 in my opinion are not optimized/designed for windows 7 but unfortunately my superiors are not willing to change it and also say "but it was working fine a month ago" which it wasn't but anyway. WHY THE HECK IS IT TRYING TO USE OUTLOOK WHEN IT STARTS. One thing i have noticed is that when you try to start pastel outlook opens in the taskbar for a bit and after it disappears pastel opens. Pastel server can be accessed via IP and DNS name with no issues. Drives are also mapped via the DNS name and not by the server's IP.

Mapped network drives are fine, are always connected and not slow to open. Pc's are all minimum dual core processors with 4GB RAM running windows 7 and pastel is setup in a workgroup environment.

The problem is that when a user try to open pastel it can take up to a minute to open pastel and another minute to load a company. The network is a small setup with 16 pc's on it and there will never be more than 3 people working on pastel at a time. The second server is a old one running server 2003 and only has pastel on it. One being a new server running server 2012 R2 and acts as the DC and DNS server. My current setup consists of two servers. I am having a problem with Pastel V11 and Pervasive V10.10.
